The Station is on Washington St. It’s full of all kinds of neat, historical stuff about the area.

Cheesecakes by Alex is phenomenal. It's the perfect downtown spot for some cake and coffee in the evening. They have a great outdoor patio that's perfect for lounging and snacking in the summer time with free WiFi. With twenty flavors, 18 available all year and 2 being seasonal, every visitor is sure to find the perfect flavor to suit their palette. You can also order their cheesecakes on-line or by phone and even have them shipped to you! And make sure to try out their made-from-scratch muffins, scones, outrageous brownies or crumb cake.

The Bean has the best coffee in town and is certainly my favorite place to be in downtown Greensboro. The customer service is absolutely fantastic and can't be beat, which is one of the many reasons why I've been going there for years. They offer a wide variety of options other than coffee so that no matter who you bring with you, they are bound to find something to satisfy them! At the Bean, you are free to be on your computer studying, reading, or just talking with friends. After a few visits and some wonderful conversation, the Baristas even remember my usual!
